A City Made of Gingerbread


If you grew up being told not to play with your food, this exhibition at the V&A in which architects, designers and engineers have been invited to create a city, an ENTIRE city made of gingerbread is like an imaginary middle finger stuck up to parental control.

Now in its third year, this edition of the Gingerbread City is hosted by the Creative Studio space in the museum and this year focuses on the theme ‘Imagining the Future City’.

We’re happy to imagine who gets to eat it all once the show is over…
