Jenny Holzer – Artist Rooms

Jenny Holzer, the American conceptual artist renowned for her thought-provoking, not to say confrontational text-based installations is now being celebrated as part of Tate Modern’s ARTIST ROOMS series.

The show brings together key works from across the four decades of her illustrious career and includes rarely seen archival material and pieces that have never been shown in the UK before. It’s a fantastic opportunity to see the development of her ground-breaking ideas about using narrative or commentary as an implicit part of visual objects, often incorporating vastly incongruous viewpoints to allow us to examine the very nature of how we communicate with one another.
